Specialized Roubaix at Paris-Roubaix

This weekend, pro cyclists converged on the Napoleonic cobbled farm tracks of northern France for a little race called Paris-Roubaix. At 160 miles, 31 of which are cobbled, Specialized sponsored teams were looking for a lightning fast rig that could take the edge off the cobbles, handle the rugged roads predictably and deliver them to the finish line. For just such an occasion, Specialized provided the riders of Quick Step and Gerolsteiner with the S-Works Roubaix SL. The teams did the race and the bike proud utilizing the industry leading lateral and torsional stiffness of the frame coupled with unparalleled vertical compliance to post some phenomenal results. Tom Boonen of Quick Step powered his Roubaix home to a stellar first place and teammate Stijn Devolder came home for seventh. Come on in and see the bike that made it all happen and give it a test ride to see what a Roubaix SL can do for you.
